Slide and Tilt Systems
We were approached by a local company, to help develop thier Slide and Tilt system from metal to plastic.
Working closely with Wolverhampton University and our client we helped in the design and development of their innovative Slide and Tilt system.
The process required 3D modelling and rapid prototype samples, after which a prototype tool was prepared and parts run for production and testing.
When everyone was happy with the finished parts we produced two 2 impression tools and began production.
The product for our client has proved very successful and has won them The Lord Stafford Award for Achievement in Innovation.
We are still producing all plastic parts for the Slide and Tilt system which include:
Front Bracket Moulding
Rail Carrier complete with 2 bearings attached (produced by Taylor Precision Plastics Ltd).
Side Support Roller
Tray Support Wheel
We are a one of their key suppliers and are on hand to assist with new projects.
We are currently assisting them in manufacture and developments for parts for the latest generation of electric vehicles.

Poultry Processing Conveyors
In the 1960’s Taylor Precision Plastics Ltd put in place the first patent on plastic rollers for the poultry processing industry.
Since then we have are constantly developing replacement conveyor systems to improve processing speed and quality.
We were asked to replace a chain conveyor over 13,000 feet long, for which new trolleys and wheels were developed.
When the chain conveyor was installed the customer was thrilled, with less rolling resistance the power to the drive units could be turned down.
We are continually producing and developing conveyor chains for installation into the poultry processing industry.

Assembly Automation Trolleys
With our vast knowledge and being a market leader in the over head roller market we were approached to produce a new roller for over head conveyors in the automation industries.
We were given specific requirements for the new roller to work to and working closely with the client we were able to turn the project around in a very quick time.
We redesigned the bearings and metal brackets and had new tooling made for both.
The customer has been delighted with the finished product and this has lead to more work and new product with them.
